It’s March MATness

During the month of March Pilates studios all over the world celebrate the Pilates Mat work. Over the last two years, I have done a deep dive into studying Osteoporosis through several continuing education workshops. I’ve learned so much and I’d like to share with you a few of the facts I came away with. I was diagnosed recently with Osteopenia and have incorporated new movement protocols to my Pilates practice. This year, during March Matness, I will show how to do some of the basic Mat exercises in a safe way for those with Osteopenia and Osteoporosis.
